Behind the spirits
Culinary Dopamine was born from a simple idea, that cooking shouldn’t be stressful, confusing, or exclusive. Cooking should be felt. Like that sensation of satisfaction you get when a dish turns out exactly how you wanted it to be.
That feeling is what we call culinary dopamine, the joy of creating food that connects people, not only by looks and taste but the process of making it.
This cookbook started as a personal project. After years of cooking for family and friends, Tyler Tilroe began writing down recipes, not just to share them, but to explain why they work. What began as a few notes turned into a 376-page book filled with recipes, systems, and insights that teach you how to cook, it's more than just a simple step by step cookbook.
Every recipe is thoroughly tested, photographed and designed by Tyler, to help you build that real kitchen instinct. You’ll learn traditional and new techniques, the deeper meaning behind flavour and the small habits that make cooking effortless and enjoyable. It’s not about perfection, it’s about confidence, taste, and the satisfaction of serving people the right way.
The Mission
The Mission is to help people of all ages cook with the feeling of joy and aspiration to become a skilled and proud home cook. By giving them a book that feels both practical and beautiful with thoughtful tips, recipes and detailed imagery.
